And it has opened up a new business: licensing the platform so others can run their own events.
Online events for clients who accept no failures
An audiovisual production company serving large corporations
Square One is an audiovisual production company that works for large international corporations. It organises and broadcasts their online events, from corporate events to conferences and shows, with hundreds or thousands of attendees connected.
But its business had a ceiling. It could only grow by organising its own events, one after another.
Every client arrives with its own rules
And every event was set up by hand
An event can have hundreds of attendees and, at the key moment, thousands connected at once. Every client wants its own design and its own way of accessing the event. And large companies come with strict rules: some want analytics and others don't, some host them themselves, some accept cookies and others don't.
The same goes for infrastructure. You have to decide where the server is, who owns it, what firewall it has or whether it sits behind a VPN. Setting all of that up by hand for each client took a lot of time and made growth impossible.

The platform has also changed Square One's business. As well as producing its own events, it can now offer the platform to other companies through licences, so they can run their events themselves.
And because the foundation is modular and easy to maintain, every new feature reaches everyone without rebuilding anything.
