Your production application without headaches: scalable, secure, and with costs under control

## DevOps and cloud consulting

Deploy, observe and recover with a clear plan

The software needs an infrastructure suitable for its use and a clear process for updating it. We review how it is deployed, how incidents are detected and how the service can be recovered.

Our cloud infrastructure services help you organize servers, configurations, and dependencies. We choose the tools according to the project and document the operations that the team will need to maintain. We apply best practices to keep data secure and the system running.

## From the current state to a clear operation

We prioritize risks and improvements that are useful for the service.

### Review the starting point

We analyze the infrastructure and needs, identifying dependencies, risks and costs that need to be understood.

### Choosing a suitable foundation

We assess cloud computing services, capacity and costs. We work with providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP or Hetzner depending on the project, without imposing unnecessary cloud architecture. Except where there are special requirements, our builds are ready to be deployed on any provider.

### Containers and configuration

Docker containers facilitate reproducible environments. We assess Compose or Kubernetes depending on the need for orchestration, and infrastructure as code when it helps maintain traceable configurations.

### CI/CD integration and deployment

We prepare CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployments, which lets us update many installations at once. Each version goes through a test environment before reaching your users, with the checks and recovery path it requires.

### Observe the service

We agree on what to monitor and how to manage alerts. Logs and alerts should help investigate incidents.

### Maintain and review

We agree on maintenance, backups and recovery tests. We review cloud scalability and cost optimization according to usage data, without oversizing the infrastructure: you pay for what you use, not for idle servers waiting for an occasional load.

## Connected development and operation

Understanding the application helps maintain it

We build with production in mind from day one, with Django and Python since 2012 and Flutter since 2018. Knowing the application helps us trace incidents back to queries, integrations and deployments.

We've applied this at Square One Media, which handles thousands of attendees at once, and at Nou Grup, where a single update reaches the stores of its 14 members at the same time. The ACB app handles audience peaks without driving up the server bill.

## We answer your questions

### Do I need to migrate everything to AWS?

Not necessarily. We assess the requirements and current environment before proposing a change. A server or other platform may be sufficient.

### Can you review an existing infrastructure?

Yes. We start with access, documentation and the status of the service. From there we propose prioritized improvements and a scope of work.

### Can you work with software from another team?

We can assess this after reviewing the project, the dependencies and the available information. Responsibilities and access must be specified before assuming its operation.

### How are costs defined?

We separate supplier costs from configuration and maintenance work. The proposal specifies what is contracted and how it is reviewed if usage changes.

### What availability can be expected?

Availability and recovery objectives are defined according to the infrastructure, dependencies and contracted service. There is no universal guarantee applicable to all projects.

### What support do you offer in the event of an incident?

Coverage hours, channels and response times must be expressly agreed upon. Automatic monitoring does not in itself imply 24-hour human attention.

### Do updates mean taking the service down?

They shouldn't. We prepare deployments so new versions go live without stopping the service, something a clinic or an online store can't afford.

### Where is the data hosted?

Where it should be: in Europe when the type of data requires it, and with the provider that best fits each case.

### Who owns the application and the servers?

You do. The application, the software and the servers are your property, and the documentation and access stay in your hands so that control is yours too.

> Development and infrastructure are handled by the same team, meaning no one builds castles in the air. Everything we propose, we implement.
