Álex Núñez

Álex works with Mecexis as a remote freelance developer. His career brings together two aspects of software that are often treated separately: building applications and managing the systems that run them. He has worked in this field since 2008, with experience in Python, Django and business management software.

From backend to systems

He has developed web applications and OpenERP modules, and worked with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, Linux servers and virtualisation. This background gives him a view of a product that encompasses both its business logic and its runtime environment: how information is stored, how tools connect and what an application needs to work day to day.

A connection dating back to Anxaneta

His relationship with the studio began in 2015, when we were still called Anxaneta Studio. Today, he collaborates with Mecexis as a freelancer, contributing to backend development and providing technical advice. His familiarity with the team and his experience in development and systems inform the technical decisions he helps make on projects.

A technical foundation built through experience

He holds an advanced vocational qualification in Computer Systems Administration from IES A Piringalla. He began his professional career at Pexego in 2008 and later worked independently. His systems training and years of development experience form a consistent thread: understanding an application while keeping sight of everything that supports it.
