Enric Martínez
UI/UX design and development
Enric works where design becomes a usable product. He combines UI/UX and development to shape web interfaces and applications, from organising information to the behaviour of individual interactions. He was already collaborating with the studio in 2015 and joined the team in 2019.
From design to application
As a UX Engineer, he makes visual decisions with an understanding of what implementing them involves. He works with Flutter, Vue.js and frontend technologies, with knowledge of Django that helps connect his work with the rest of the product.
He has contributed across Mecexis’s projects during this period, including the official ACB app, B2B ecommerce and Glashh. Moving between a fan application, a professional purchasing tool and a chess platform requires understanding different uses, rhythms and expectations.
Attention to how things work
Before Mecexis, he worked at Ubisoft Barcelona in QA and development testing. This experience adds another perspective to his design work, with attention to issues and how applications behave when put to the test.
He holds a degree in Interactive Digital Content from ENTI-UB, with a background in games and 3D art. This creative and technical foundation informs his approach to motion, interaction and visual presentation, aiming to make each decision help people use the product.
His contributions to Carticious include the web-based 3D customiser in its second version, applying his experience in graphics and interaction to ecommerce.
