Real experience in clinical management

We have built the platform that manages the complete operation of an anesthesiology group and a medical center with between 70 and 80 professionals: the strongest proof that we understand how a healthcare center works from the inside.

  • Management of medical procedures

    Scheduling of procedures with dates, times, and operating rooms; assignment of physicians, nurses, and type of anesthesia; monitoring of statuses; and bulk import. Physicians can view their daily assignments and responsibilities from any device.

  • Documentary AI for authorizations

    Insurance authorizations arrive in over 30 different PDF formats. Our solution automatically processes them, extracting patient information, identifiers, and procedures, with the administrative team monitoring and making decisions. The result in production: 96% less review time, from 8-hour days to 20 minutes per person.

  • Billing and reconciliation with mutual insurance companies

    Standard invoices, self-billing proformas and corrective invoices, remittance management and reconciliation of grouped payments: when a mutual insurance company pays hundreds of transactions together by bank transfer, the system balances what has been collected against what has been invoiced and automatically generates the corrective invoices.

Each healthcare facility has its own way of working, and generic clinical management solutions force a change in that. We build in the opposite direction: platforms that reflect the actual operations of the facility, its roles (doctors, nurses, administration), its insurers, and its approval and billing workflows.

We also know what migrating history means: in the case of SART, the platform replaced a proprietary system built in the late 1980s, containing decades of data and established work practices, through a phased rollout that never stopped an operating room. And when the starting point is manual management, as at Institut Roura, the path is designed in the same progressive way: each module is validated in production with real users before taking the next step.

    Django and PostgreSQL as the base, Dockerized infrastructure, background processing for bulk document uploads, and installable applications (PWAs) that doctors and administrators use like any other app.

  • AI applied with judgment

    Document management AI (Google Cloud Document AI) is integrated into the actual workflow, following the human-in-the-middle paradigm we apply to all our projects. AI handles repetitive tasks (currently, authorization extraction, which is already operational in production), while people retain control over every decision. This same approach naturally extends to other document types and assisted transcription and report writing, areas where we already work in other sectors.

  • Electronic signature

    We have implemented electronic signatures in management platforms in other sectors, a proven capability that in the healthcare field is applied to informed consents and clinical documentation that requires validity and traceability.
